Please drop me or CP a text if you are keen on attending. I had a recent bout of viral fever which laid me oh so low. I felt like I had the stuffing beaten out of me, and could not access my own healing. Then my better half gave me a figurative kick in the butt and made me realize that:
(1) Physical illness has no grip on my connection with the higher self - you can continue to strengthen your weaknesses; (2) I allowed the weaknesses in as if I flipped a switch and choose to be weak and needy, rather than always strong; (3) It doesn’t matter how low you feel, getting back up to being strong is not a factor of how low you think you have sunken to; coming back up happens in an instant. So my takeaway for the week is why wait till you are feeling weak and powerless to strengthen yourself? Feel for the weaknesses arising from illness, poor health, bad weather, impediments, hurtful people, or other threatening situations which may detract from your ability to be at your highest potential. Then remove those weaknesses and be strong not to be affected, troubled, or weakened by them into the future. And breath a sigh of contentment as you let all these weaknesses leave your life. It was a wonderful start to 2014 with our Yuen Method Level 1 workshop this weekend! Lots of great energy exchanged, and results obtained.

Pains that creep up on you - not because of strenuous physical exertions. Often a crick in the neck, aches in the shoulders, one side or both sides of the hip being tight, heaviness behind the eyes, and a general feeling of a deep dull ache that persists despite heat pads, ice packs, liniments, and painkillers.
A number of these pains have emotional origins. As if the unprocessed, and repressed emotions insidiously reside in our tissues until we will them to go away. Dr Kam's perspective is that: "The best approach is not to have any negative emotions—you do it by deletion only–never by repressing them, pushing them inside or by suppressing them. That’s what most people do. They suppress them. In fact some people are so proud of themselves, saying they could suppress and forget anything. Once again, the best approach is deletion." It is never too early to do a spring cleaning of our emotional cupboards. So go to your midline, and place your intention there to delete and release all prior emotions in your physical body, and be strong to feeling, then letting it go. Try it and see if it makes an improvement to your life. Stay Strong. It seems trite to say that you need to be comfortable where you are. To be chill. To be "in the present". The term I am reaching for is "feng shui": being in harmony, neutrality, and balance with yourself, where you physically, mentally and spiritually are at. In a word, being "strong". “The planet does not need more ‘successful’ people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds. It needs people to live well in their places. It needs people with moral courage willing to join the struggle to make the world habitable and humane and these qualities have little to do with ‘success’ as our culture is the set.”
-Dalai Lama Intuition; gut feel; insight; serendipity. Scientists have validated it in lab experiments and brain scans. US Patent office has granted an application based on it.
It is the sum total of our bodies instinct,a visceral conscious intelligence, that tells us what we need to know before we are even mindful of it. So get the mind out of here and indulge, intuit, and revel in the intelligence of the physical universe. |
